Listen
Listen to different experiences, perspectives, cultures, and ideas with curiosity and respect.
YOUNG PEOPLE • IDEAS • PERSPECTIVES
A space where young people can ask questions, share perspectives, express ideas, and participate in conversations about the health of our world.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS
Global health affects everyone—including young people. Their experiences, questions, ideas, and perspectives can enrich how communities understand and respond to health challenges.
GHE aims to create a respectful environment where young people can express themselves, learn from one another, and contribute to conversations about the world they will inherit.
A SPACE FOR PARTICIPATION
Young Voices is built around three simple principles.
Listen to different experiences, perspectives, cultures, and ideas with curiosity and respect.
Ask thoughtful questions and examine assumptions, evidence, and the information we encounter.
Share ideas, stories, creative work, and perspectives that can contribute to learning and positive change.
SHARE • CREATE • EXPLORE
There are many ways for young people to participate. A contribution can be a question, an idea, a story, a creative work, an observation, or evidence gathered through a project.
Ask the questions that others may not have considered. Curiosity is often the beginning of discovery.
Share experiences and observations that can help others understand how health and wellbeing are experienced in everyday life.
Imagine new approaches to health challenges and propose practical ideas that could make a difference.
Explore information, identify patterns, examine evidence, and communicate what the data may—and may not—tell us.
Use art, writing, photography, video, design, or other creative forms to communicate ideas about health and society.
Turn questions into investigations, school projects, community activities, or research ideas.
FROM VOICE TO ACTION
A question can become an investigation. An observation can become a project. A project can become a contribution. And a contribution can inspire others.
GHE encourages young people to move through this journey at their own pace, supported by learning opportunities, evidence, collaboration, and responsible guidance.
A SAFE & RESPECTFUL SPACE
GHE aims to make Young Voices a constructive, inclusive, and respectful space for learning and participation.
Treat different experiences, cultures, identities, and perspectives with dignity.
Distinguish evidence from opinion and be willing to examine information critically.
Share information thoughtfully and consider the potential impact of what we communicate.
Make room for voices that may otherwise be overlooked or unheard.
